Deathdealer WIP: An ongoing saga

Hey Folks,

First post after an eternity lurking. I've recently started work on a Deathdealer mini for 40K. It's based on an old 2nd Ed Epic mini from the chaos range. I started this project nearly 2 years ago and it's been sitting on a shelf for most of that time. I now want to get this finished by the end of February as I'm sick of it judging me whenever I walk into the room.

It is comprised of a Baneblade chassis topped with a Khornate temple and a Soulgrinder on the front. Below are 3 "as is" pics together with a couple I took at earlier stages. I'll try and take better pics for the next update.

looking good so far though maybe could do with some hoses/tubing from the back of the soulgrinder to the temple front to help tie those two elements together

Wow, a cathedral on a tank :shock: Great fun! I've seen some done before at the more Epic scale end of things but a full "32mm" one is new to me. Checkout Mattsterbenz's current WIP thread for a nice insight on how to paint red with a full range of black through white, should help you with getting some depth into the iconography & demon flesh. Truly a monster of a project, stick with it!
