Decal for painting over transfers, as any one used it and if so is it any good.

:flame: could any one tell me if decal is any good for painting over transfers and if not is there any way to stop them looking like transfers please please give advice as i dont normaly use them but i am about to start painting the new eldar army and have decided that i will use them on some of the models.

I\'m sure there are a few articles on this in the article section, but I would say use varnish:

Gloss varnish the intended site where you wanna put your decal, before placing it.

Once the gloss is dry, place the decal as usual.

Once everything is dry, go over the decal and surrounding area with gloss/satin varnish.

A decal is a transfer.

Painting over decals is ok.

You can paint over them. I sugest dullcoating the are before painting though.
