I liked it and thought it covered the start of the chapter and everything really well but aint the book meant to be about the Horus Heresy.

I was expecting to find out what and why, I get that at the end they feel like the Lion has turned his back on them etc but theres no examining of how they turned.

Any1 else feel slightly let down by this book, o well the master is back next bring on Dan \"shooty death bang\" Abnett

i assume its not a book in it\'s own right and there are more to follow. it\'s seemed to be painting the scene for what is to follow

By all accounts there is meant to be a sequel at some point. There bloody well better be.

It\'s a fairly mediocre example of generic sc-ifi to be perfectly honest. There\'s very little to tie it into the 40k universe until right near the end.

I had really high hopes for this, especialy after Gav Thorpes fantastic half-a-book Angels of Darkness. If he can write a decent book about the whole affair then think what a truly competent author could achieve. lol
