Dedicated Web Servers

Hi All,

Has anybody any recommendations for companies selling dedicated web servers, preferably in the UK? The company I work for is in the process of getting one shortly and I'd much rather buy through word of mouth than Googling

Do you mean hosted ones or buying tin yourself?

As in a physical piece of kit in a hosting company that you tend to pay for monthly.

From experience they tend to be a bit on the slow side... better to buy a server and pay someone to host it in a rack.

If you don't fancy the ownership part I would go with 1&1 - I have been a customer of theirs for a few things over the years and have always had a rock solid service.
