Yeh, we used loads of signing when my little sister was born, just simple stuff like yes, no, naughty, food, drink, good...

I think the version we used was called mackerton signing, which i think (not sure) is a simplefied version for people with learning dificulties, so therefore ace for kids.

Thanks everyone for your well wishes!

Bill - Love the frog, thanks!

Uberdark - Halloween\'s coming up soon. I just might have to work on those horns...

Gilvan Blight & alextheartist - Thanks for the tips on signing. We had planned to do that but actually didn\'t know where to start.

Johnyboyjjb - Thanks for the Baby Wise and MOMs tips. It is great to hear that your twins are sleeping well and that they did so at 4 months!

Airhead - You are absolutely right about locking things up. I have enough lead to poison everyone in a 5 mile radius!

AWESOME! Congratulations to you and your wife!

As a parent of a deaf child, our youngest benefited greatly from early sign language lessons. My sister the teacher even started using it for her little girl, and it is wonderful to have things communicated before they can speak...
