Having never ordered anything from Great Britain before, wondering how long I should expect on mini from Hassle Free to arrive to my home in Washington USA. That's on the West Coast, for those unfamiliar. When I was deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan, we typically got mail in 6-10 days from the time it was sent. Does that sound about right? I paid 4 pounds for standard air mail. Just trying to get a fix on how long.

I'd say give it up to a month - after which, you may be reasonably certain that something has gone wrong somewhere. Of course, there could be a lot of unforeseen delays along the route. I've had things take 6 months to come from France, but then, I'm at the arse end of the earth. And then again, I've had stuff come from the States in a week.

So ... it varies quite wildly.

Getting things shipped in the opposite direction usually takes between one and three weeks. At least that's my experience.

Ordering stuff from Coolminiornot store roughly 10-15 days to the UK, and sending stuff to family in Canada (Edmonton) about the same. But ordered an Abney Park live Blu-Ray took almost a month, yet from Tribal Hollywood in California 5 days.
It's in the hands of the postal services so basically start chewing your nails!!!

Don't forget customs. Had one package disappear there for about two months. Send a second package of the exact same stuff, and it arrived where it was supposed to go in a week.

well I have experience only on the way back (from US to EU), mostly from KD.
Sometimes it takes as little as a week (order on monday, it's here by friday or saturday), but quite a lot of KD shipments take up to 6 weeks (like the last 2 that arrived, and it looks like we'll hit the 6 week with the Satan's too)
