For a 35mm bust, that looks pretty good. I get the impression that he\'s from the living dead type of demon.

It may be the photo but his left eye looks lower than his right. Otherwise nice job. It\'d be interesting to see him painted up.

quite aside from the comparatively low(imho) scores for both yours and mine, I can\'t even get 50 votes together!

grrr...

I agree that bust sculpts may not be that popular. I know many painters who aren\'t the least bit interested in painting busts.

But, I think the relatively low (or medium) scores are not simply a reflection of this. Think about what a truly masterful bust sculpt looks like, and then compare with yours. You\'ll probably agree with me that you\'ve got some ways to go, still. A bust focuses on the face and shoulder part of a figure and as such, these parts need to be really well made for the sculpt to work as a whole. So, people may be a bit more critical of bust sculpts. There\'s no cool features to mask the fact that there\'s some anatomical issues with this sculpt, as well as with cybersquig\'s, as might have been the case with a full sculpt. I\'m not saying they\'re shite sculpts, but you have a long way to go before you reach the level of, say, Romain van den Bogaert, whose busts usually end up in the lower 9 regions.

So, when put in perspective, I think the medium scores you guys have are pretty much \"correct\". Just keep practicing.
