Demon speaking in admonishment

Topkapý Palace Museum is the home of many pictures believed to have been made in 14th century in Central Asia by a master named Muhammad Siyah Qalam (literally meaning black pen). In these mysterious works, humans and demons are portrayed in their daily lives. These demons are big, strong and have scary look. Although different from humans, these creatures with sharp teeth, having dragon head at the tip of their long tails act like humans, i.e. they fight, dance, play musical instruments, drink, cut trees, sacrifice horses and dress like humans. The demon speaking in admonishment is portrayed as standing on one leg and leaning on his staff, with his right hand index finger pointing upright. The original picture of this demon talking and making a threatening gesture with his hand is 15.6cm to 27.3cm and is kept at Topkapý Palace Treasury 2153 folio 48A. This is a masterpiece from a mysterious world and continues to speak in admonishment from that realm.
