Demon Prince or Greater Demon

I\'d IMAGINE a Greater Daemon - as a Daemon Prince has only just reached Daemon-hood...
I guess they each have their foibles too, and of course, differing points costs...
It also depends on what other units are in your army and your fighting style.
However, for the purposes of the poll, I\'ll go Greater daemon.

I\'d go Demon Prince. A Greater Demon is a great firemagnet, but in most games, it\'s just overkill. There\'s also the whoppy points you have to dish out. AND the fact that you have to summon him. If the possesed model gets killed at an inopportune moment, you\'re screwed. So I wouldn\'t consider a greater Demon in games of <2000 pts.

No real answer can be given, it is all situational. The deamon prince usually can be customized to your style of play (Speed/steed/stature/weapon type/etc) and seems somewhat more flexible, however most of the greater deamons offer a huge knockout punch at bargain prices providing you deliever the deamon in through an unwoulded deamon vessel. Both prince and greater deamon bear a heavy point cost and also offer your opponenent a great shot at gathering points if he has something capable of taking either down in a hurry. Again, you have to decide what you objective is and then you can decide better which one better does it. I have seen armies with both and in my opinion theye are over the top and not very much fun to play against.
