Desert Druid?

Anyone have any suggestions for a mini for a desert druid character?

I\'ve been through all the Reaper galleries, and found a couple possibilities, but am just wondering if anyone knows of any other good ones out there?

Unmounted please. I\'ve seen all the minis by Reaper, but can you tell me which army the GW ones are in? The search feature on the us GW site might be fixed by now, but I doubt it. :)

I like the Parkinson one too, but my character is unfortunately male. There seem to be more female deserty types (that are cool anyway) than male. Maybe I should play a female? Nah, I\'m not that good of a role player. lol

well, i think just about any rangewr type mini would work. the key is to paint him so that he fits in to the environment. darker skin and eyes, \"eastern\" colors work well- lots of reds and purples in intricate frehand patterns on anykind of fabric, and the key is the base and weathering. co for an over the top, cllearly desert environment painted entirely in browns, reds and greys. include : cracked earth, dead shrubs/grass, aged deadfall. stones. make it flat, but thick. also add a good amount of dust to the mini to tie it in, on the boots, cloak or anything like that. if you need a feature that screams \"desert badass\" add a GS bandanna around the face (with dust of course). one thing ive learned on this site: any mini can fit any environment, the mood is all about the paint and integrating the mini in to the scene you\'ve set.

The original paymaster for the DOW army had a guy on foot with a big turbin. Bragon has one in his gallery of a Harem girl I\'ll see if I can find the link. You can see it on Bragons home page as well.

This is Gw\'s TruthSayer, from a campaign had while back. I assume he can still be purchased by special order.

Wargods of AEgyptus

Try Crocodile Games They have a game called Wargods of AEgyptus that is based on the mythology of egypt. You should be able to find a desert druid or something there.

They only have one page of humans but those they have are pretty cool. Picked one out and am about to send off for him. :flip:
