dont like the freehand but it depends on what mini is on it. tis pretty well done though

My plan is to put a Tau gundrone on top of it (its a 40mm base) and the piece will be called \'Lost in Time\'. He sort of got blasted into the dimension where time is no longer an option and there he has to remain the rest of his days. I have no idea for the colours I\'m gonna use for it so any advice would be hihgly appreciated

I don\'t know how I feel about the freehand, other than it\'s excellent. Bravo! I think I\'d rather see you put some whacko model on their, maybe something that would help sell the whole package a little better? Maybe some kind of scientist, be it a GW empire engineer thingy or some kind of steampunk engineer (Wyrd Ramos or Leviticus maybe?). That\'s what I think would sell it a little more. Kind of an HG Wells \"Time Machine\" sort of dude.

Sorry A Luna, I didn\'t mean sell for cash, I meant sell the idea of it more!
I like it, but it screams more the victorian mad scientist then it does a forge world piece. But that\'s me!

Ahh, don\'t worry Scott. I\'ve had this reaction on a different forum too. The theme of the base isn\'t really \'showing through\'.
Although it all makes perfect sense in my mind, I never actually can make it clear to other people
I also got the idea from someone to put a harlequin on there (I already have a magnet on the base so another one couldn\'t hurt on the base of the harlequin.
But now seeing several replies that the theme isn\'t clear, I\'ll change it (magnetize the quin too so I can still change to drone).
Wish me luck, I\'ll be trying to find out some idea\'s for the quins.
PS: I ment my FW order for things to sell (on ebay) later

The base comes from Ironhalo.net and from the \'Deus Ex Machina\' theme.
You should have a look, their castings are well done and they\'re not very expensive.
