Deus Ex Minis

When Deus Ex first came out I kinda missed out on it, I was in college at the time. Then this last Christmas I got a GOTY copy and I was hooked. Does anyone have any idea what kind of minis I could use or convert to make some of the characters from DX? Characters like:
Gunther Herrman( the guy I REALLY WANNA MAKE),
The Denton Brothers,
Anna Navarre,
Sam Carter,
Walter Simons,
Bob Page,
MiB & WiBs,
Troops, whether UNATCO, NSF, MJ12 or Triad,
MJ12 Commandos,

Deus Ex, the computer game

It came out in 2000 and was followed by a sequel called Deus Ex: Invisible War this year. You played a genetically and bionically modified rookie secret agent J.C. Denton. It has a first person view, like a shooter but instead of just running around shooting everything (which you could still do) you could also sneak around, talk to and stun people into unconciousness.

It became really popular because the story was steeped in moral ambiguity and it allowed you a lot of freedom in what you could do in which mission. It even had multiple endings, all rather morally ambigious, there was no \"right\" way, only tough decisions all depending on your perspective

It also became rather infamous after the WTC attacks because of how the real world began to mirror the games atmosphere and focus on terrorism/conspiracies.

sorry no ideas. but...

I agree, the game was incredible. Some of my best gaming moments were playing that game.

It has been a while since I played it though....

Was Gunther Hermann the really tough bad guy that you had to beat about midway through the game?

Also, what is Deus Ex 2 like? Is it worth my time, with so many other great games being out?

I have no Idea what IW is like. Funny thing is I missed out on Deus Ex when it came out and didn\'t play it untill Christmas, 2003 lol But anyways I haven\'t played IW yet.

Gunther was the big bald cyborg who started the game as one of your training instructors, then became your enemy. I wished I could\'ve avoided killing him, I liked him.

I\'ll chime in on this...

If your computer can run it, it\'s a good game. gameplay wise and graphics wise, it\'s MUCH different from the first game... however, the story is still GREAT. To me, Deus Ex was a 5/5. Deus Ex: IW was a 4/5.

The main things I didn\'t like were the ammo system (every weapon uses the same ammo? bah), the dumbed down interface (mainly for console users), and the fact that it didn\'t really have any RPG elements in it, like the first game did.

Yes, the second one is good, and has some nice touches, but I would say that it is far too short. considering the epic adventure that the first one is, I was expecting something similar from the second, but it was not to be.

Oh, and I agree about the generic ammo thing, that was just plain silly

Lol didn\'t think of my self as a celebrity, I\'m flatered you think do highly of me :p, guess I\'ll have to get used to it :D
I think Deus ex kinds of loses its charme if it dosn\'t have the RPG aspect to it, that\'s one of the things find really cool in the first one. And one ammo for all weapons ??:|~
