I\'m liking him must get myself one looks like fun to paint...
Ok tips.............This is my opinion.
You have a good technique for blending and the flesh looks sound.I like the blue with the purple highlights.Maybe the stomach area could do with lightning up a little with maybe a slight different colour to it (think lighter skin on the belly of a snake) maybe use a yellowish tint in there .
What is really stopping this model really \"pop\" is a lack of contrast especially in some key areas.
so the Nails. Where the Nails meet the fingers you need a darker colour right at the base to seperate more..Try a wash with a thin black brown mix.You could use ink or paints for this.
The Face is a real focal point on this model and again this can be emphasised by providing some more contrast in the area ..Make the darker bits darker and the lighter bits lighter .Use small fine highlights to really pick out the shape of the features.Such a big face with so much character if picked out and painted carefully will really add a lot to the whole thing.
Looking good though and definitely convinced me to go get one...
