Hello
This is another miniature for my local hobby shop, its a Privateer press one and I have a few from them to do for the display cabinet.
It was intended to be a copy from the miniature in there catalogue but I got a bit carried away. I had planned from the start to put it on a snowy base so I thought the spikes on the body may look good with a more icy theme to them. The overall look of this one reminds me a bit of the film \'Monsters Inc\'.

I do like the colorscheme. The teeth and claws could use just a touch of yellowish brown. Give them that ivory look.

Yes, I can see what you mean with the claws and teeth, when I was looking at it earlier I felt it needed something to give it a bit of contrast and a bit of yellow may just do that. Gonna leave it as it is though, already spent to long on it.

I really like the colour scheme on this, and the way you painted the spikes to look icy. Shawn hit on my only real criticism already - teeth look a little too perfect and clean.

nice one tom...this is the coolest version i have seen of this troll...there is always room for tweaks and improvements when you look at a finished mini, such is the burden of the artist, but you have made me forget that i absolutely hate this sculpt...i may have to steal this scheme for the extreme...

Thanx all, i am glad you like it. Its probaly one of those clour schemes that you either love or hate but I like it. I really enjoyed doing this one aswell the larger areas on the monster size minis are a nice break from the fine detail of the Human sized ones.

@jahminis - looking forwrd to see what your going to do with the scheme, how extreme is extreme?

Nice color scheme. The mouth looks flat lips teeth etc but that could be the pic. Overall very nice mini.
