What's up good people. So, this is my first post on CMON. Hopefully the first of many.

I decided to start a WIP blog as I enjoy following some on CMON and hope to improve my painting skills and get to know some of you guys.

Anyway, so this is what I'm working on. I know he's almost finished, but hopefully you've got some advice/criticism.

I'm struggling with the reds. Don't really know how to give it a more depth.

Also, not tooo sure about the inside squig's mouth being blue.

Anyway, let me know what you guys think. looking forward to what you have to say.

welcome :)
Good work. Focus hard on you prep work I notice a few mold lines etc.
Dont be afraid to add other colours into the skin and armor etc, like blues, red, oranges it will bring the mini to life.

Really nice job. Keep the WIPs coming. I think one thing that stands out for me are the chipping/damage on the white canister on the gun is really nice but the metals surrounding on other parts of the gun don't look as interesting. Not saying it all needs equal weathering but just a bit to tie them together a bit.

Great start dirty , nice overall choice of colours ,leave the blue in the squigs mouth adds a way different colour to the rest of the model maybe add some UHU glue spittle out of his mouth tinged with blue.
with your red ,start glazing in some black into the shadows it will look a little dirty as well which will add to the ork feel

^ what this lot have said. Great start. You've got a really nice deep red/brown on the leather and the chipping on the metals is a nice touch. Check out Blood As Meduims WIP for some inspiration into coloured glazes for the skin.
