So, finally you\'ve finished her! ;) Very nice work there! The face, skin and stockings are the best parts, I\'d say. Hair is nice too.

The dirz guys look really good too. You\'ve used metallics on them, haven\'t you? I like the robes especially. They look really grubby and torn. The pests are cool, also. I know how small they are. Need to get mine painted too, some day...

Wow, Natalya is very nice! The blending is awesome and the tatoo is sweet. I gave her a 10. The others got a 9.

Oh my, you continually top your last stuff, which is no small feat!

I love the Natali...seriously one of the better versions I have seen with this.

Color me impressed.

Thanks for the comments! I try to improve something in every mini I do, even if it\'s just my speed.. :)

as for paints. Any specfic recipe you want? I used citadel and vallejo paint. The green armour on Natali was made from chaos black --> scaly green --> VMC Pale greyblue and finally some white. While her.. boots were made first finished with highlights entirely in grey and then glazed with scaly green + VMC pale greyblue. The red shiftings were made with very diluted red glaze (old GW) + red gore and VGC dark fleshstone.

This is actually the first mini I\'ve tried Vallejo Model colour on. And I\'m not disappointed! :D

And secondly the first part of my confrontation force. Painted for play.. just need to learn how to first! :] Any tips on must haves in a confrontation force?

I have never played Confrontation 3, but in 2 I pretty much always used a core of three Warriors of the Dawn, two Keratis Clones and a handful of Crossbowmen - depending on the point value of the game I would usually use up to three. The idea is that the WoD would rush to the enemy to engage the first few models while the Keratis stayed a little behind and then use their superiour speed to break through the front and attack the enemies in the back - you know, those that your opponent hoped to use to counter-charge ;)
The crossbowmen were used for potshots and to pick off models that were able to break through.
Keep another spot open to include Skorize Warriors, their \"Scorpion\'s Claw\" fighting style coupled with their infiltration ability can easily down most opponents or at least severely wound them. After the first round you should really send them some help though. You can throw in a Biopsist to create a deadly infiltration force. I used these three models to destroy about one third of sakura\'s army one time ;)

I would also suggest using a character - basically, all Dirz characters are psychotic madmen, so make your choice :D I would use Vargas Metatron to reinforce my WoD or rush in with Arkeon Sanath - he slaughters most regular troops. Pit him against troops with low defense and you will be able to watch him produce a giant heap of torn flesh. Because of his \"Desert rage\" ability (No idea is this is correct, but he only has one extra card anyway :D) he has unlimited moves after killing an enemy, so if you keep on rolling well, he keeps on killing without ending his turn ;)
Sin Assyris is another favourite of mine, Sakura never knew what to do against him :D If you equip him with his special sword he\'ll be even more deadly, as all three powers are incredibly useful. The second one should be even better now, as the whole attack system has been revamped and he effectively can get \"brutal\" three times in a game, allowing him to treat a five as a six.
Sethin looks a little mediocre at first, but I started to love survival after the last change. Also remember that she can spontaneously mutate ;)

The mutagen is a pretty important choice too. First turn your crossbowmen should receive it, because nobody else has a chance of fighting. Alternatively give it to some front line warriors to rush them into battle quicker. Once you engaged the enemy and the clumps of meele starts to form you need to decide where it\'s most needed... I usually favour characters to raise their already great abilities sky high and obliterate my enemy ;)

Yeah, that was quite a post, so I\'m just gonna stop now... also, I\'m pretty sure I wrote basically the exact same thing before on this forum. Ah well.

Oh, and I like your paintjobs too :D

PS: If you\'re looking for an opponent, come over to Germany ;)

Thanks so much Mosch!

What I have right now is

1 The Heresiarch\'s Spawn (painted)
1 Keratis warriors box
1 Dasyatis Clone (cleaned and primed)
2 Belisarius Clones (Thanks Seb)
2 More Keratis Warriors (Thanks Seb)
1 Sethin (thanks ebay!)

Can I buil a good army out of them? I know that Cypher Lukhan is overly pricey. But that also means i have to paint less miniatures. :D I mean it doesn\'t matter what force you have if you are a great tactic.. so I\'m just going to loose either way! lol

So basically what I should get is some Crossbowmen and Warriors of the Dawn. (like 3 crossbowmen and 2 dawn warriors?) But couldn\'t the hybrids fill some of the task as crossbowmen? :) I\'ll buy the Arkeon Sanath and Sin Assyris as I wanted to paint them anyway! :) And maybe some skorize warriors and a Bioptist.

The Warriors of Dawn come in blisters of three and I\'d advise you to use all three of them too ;) They are the bread and butter - cheap enough to sacrifice, but deadly enough so the enemy can\'t just ignore them (their sword kills even they only hit critical).
The Hybrids can double as crossbowmen, sure, and they are better at it too (they have shooting 2 compared to the crossbowman\'s shooting 3, but they can remedy that with mutagenic, where they have 2 points more, plus they can shoot farther), but remember that 2 Hybrids = 3 Crossbowmen pointwise. It\'s your choice.
As for your current force, try and use it as it is. You have a deadly array of elite units there who will tear through the enemy, but every loss is a big one. I don\'t know what point value you will want to play, so I can\'t give you a complete army list, but try building around the Hybrids, Sethin and two Keratis Warriors. This is a good, deadly core of 171 points (use the old Keratis Warriors - I like the models a lot more :D But I do love the new Cypher Lukharn....). The Belisarius Clone is poisonous; now the catch is that you only get one poison die for every 100 points, so if you use more than one you still only have 1 poisonous warrior. They are basically Warriors of the Dawn with minor changes.
The Dasyatis Clone is just sick. I\'m not going to say anything about it, the statline should be enough :D

So basically I think you can build a pretty good force out of what you have there.
Oh, and here\'s a little loophole: Try to get just a little over your arranged army value - every 100 points give you one mutagenic die, so while 400 points give you 4 dice, 401 give you 5 ;) This is entirely legal, but a little cheesy :D

Thanks for all the help Mosch! I\'ll definately get in touch if I travel somewher close to you, so we can game! :)

I\'ll try to build the force, as you said, around the things I allready have. My main object is to have fun.. so it shouldn\'t matter if my army isn\'t the best one ever.. as long as it\'s not total crap. I\'ll buy some dawn warriors, Arkeon Sanath, Sin Assyris and perhaps some cheap clones for distraction while the rest of my force makes grinded meat of their oponents. :)

Excellent work all round you swine! The lady is looking better than ever. I think this is my favourite so far. A nice fuzziness about it, if that doesn\'t sound weird, like 70\'s filter photography. Very cute. Flawless.
