***warning - another shameless plug ahead***

Well she certainly demanded a lot of attention, hence the Diva title :cool: (About 40 hours worth) but I think she was worth it.

Demoness

Lots of metal to try out SENMM and first attempt at my own base with sculpey.

At this rate I\'ll have a new mini out about once every 2 months... :(
I would be grateful for comments or advice!!!

...you\'re still newish to painting right? Going by what I\'ve voted for the rest of your gallery this is a definite 9! The base is great,and the painting is beautiful,I\'m only getting that kind of orange effect on my blades now after years lol The various tones used on the blades and metals are perfect and the orange blades are dfinitely my favourite parts! The skin is spot-on,an all round great job,shame about the contest I\'m sure she would have done well.Nice one :cool:;):D

Thanks for the compliment Broke N, you are right, I\'ve been painting for 4 months now. But I\'ve seen so much here that has opened my eyes to some brilliant techniques and styles. Kudos to everyone for sharing and teaching!! That tweening technique definately helped getting smoother skin and blades. The scales though were a lot tougher than I\'d first imagined, and didnt come out like I\'d hoped, but I\'ll keep practising.

I just need to learn how to do it faster ;)

only 4 months!!!?? We better watch out, with this type of progress we\'re going to have another Astonia-type story on our hands! :)

This is all the more incredible given the fact that you have been only doing this for 4 months. You got my vote. Now I must go look at the rest of your gallery. :D

I think the overall mini looks a bit dark IMO, and the blending could be a little smoother here and there.

But I think your main concern right now is the picture quality.

And about the two months of working time: prefer quality over quantity in this hobby!
