Do red box miniatures come in a blister pack?

Just curious about this. I ordered a few from their website and they came in ziploc bags.. I thought it was strange.

The ones I got from the Coolmini store were in blister packs.......but several well known manufacturers sent stuff out in ziplock bags to save postage costs. (Freebooter for one)
I wouldn't be surprised if Red Box did that as well.

I've only bought Red Box from CMON too, they came blistered but I get plenty of stuff in ziplocs from other companies, eg. Hasslefree and Heresy, but they're then bubblewrapped and boxed. I once had a ziploc of 3 minis show up slopping around in an unpadded A4 envelope (from a omb who I shan't name) though! Amazed they arrived intact.

I basicly think of a blister as Retail packaging, if I'm buying direct I don't expect them. Plus they just go in the bin so are wasted, I get enough plastic food packaging for scratch building or glue-mixing to not need them.

I will just mention the Otherworld packaging though, big clamshell blisters (resealable) with a fat wodge of foam in them, best packaging I've experienced from a smaller mini company.

Cheers, B.

Many small manufacturers send out their miniatures when ordered direct in simple packaging to save on costs.
They sell in blister packs and boxes to retail outlets.
