Yes, they do have such a thing. Supervike actually has painter\'s constipation, according to Orchid\'s sig lol My advice: pick up the brush NOW. Put PAINT on it. SLAM it on the model. That will free you from the curse :D

AK-74\'s? when I was a young scout, all we had to worry about was AK-47\'s. Now they got AK-74\'s too?

I thought you had mearly typoed, so I did a quick search - and they do exist.

back on topic: there is painter\'s block. I have something similar. I agreed to paint this bunch of zombie pirates for a friend, but when I look at them all I can think is \"who the hell wants a bunch of zombie pirates?\"
Oh, except one of them makes me want to make a tiny pair of sunglasses for him cause he looks like a dead Neo from the Matrix.

On the serious side, yes, it can happen - read a book, go outside, and when you are ready, you will paint again grass hopper.


On the AK side - theres the AK-47, the AKM, the AK-74, and the RPK - along with a couple of other varients.

Sure there is. I tend to get out practise models and paint bits on them or get someting REALLY simple and give it a speed paint.

I find a good doodle on a bit of paper gets me going again.

@ Airhead - When you were a scout they shot at you with AK\'s??

And I thought rubber-band guns were bad enough!

@ Anyone else who thought there was only Avtomata Kalashnikova 47s - Get Operation Flashpoint! It kicks ass.

@ Supervike - more fibre dude! ;P

@ Mistamick - It\'s not me - it\'s the glue fumes :p

I get painters block a lot. Nothing can cure it, do something else untill you just are drawn back to the table.

I get painters block after about a month of hardcore painting, I usually will paint every day for a month or two, get painters constipation and I won\'t pick up a brush or mini for about 3-6 months, then rinse and repeat. It has been about 2 months currently :(

Just sit and paint something, anything. I think that blocks are similar to depression and can be helped with activity. If you are putting yourself under creative pressure and think that you can\'t come up with a new idea, do a variation on something that you have already done. The creation of something novel will come back eventually. Harrison Ford once said something like, \"The Force is within you. Force yourself.\" Tomorrow, I\'m going to force myself to set up my studio area so I can start painting again.:D

I do get a bit depressed at times and it means I don\'t really want to do anything. But I have started up warhammer again, although its converting and not painting.:bouncy:

:mad: iv got painters block now, so im getting out of it by building a really big model, like a meter and half big model. and plus i need to buy new paint brushes. :)
