Do you lack willpower?

I have a final tomorrow, and am currently wasting time and not getting the last of my crap in order for the test. Why? There are so many possible answers, none of them reflect well on me. lol Mainly, it\'s because I have to finish my work on the computer, and that gives me access to so much stuff that is infinately more interesting than typing up notes for a writing class. It\'s not like I have a huge amount to do, probably 2 or 3 hours worth of work and I\'ll be completely finished, but I just can\'t seem to commit myself to not screwing off.

Anybody else have this problem?

Well next Tuesday and Thursday I am writing my Canadian Securities Course (CSC) exams so I can get my securities license and go work at a full service brokerage. I have 17 chapters left to study and I\'m on here farting around typing messages about how I too like to procrastinate. That should say something about my willpower.

BTW, this course has a high failure rate and most people take months to prepare for it. I have given myself 2 weeks to prepare and so far have only read 6 chapters... Well actually I skimmed 2 of them.

yeah, sounds kinda like me. I\'m just doing my prerequisites for nursing, but here nursing is a super competitive program to get into. I know I can pull a B in this class without breaking a sweat, so maybe that\'s why I\'m goofing off. Oh well. Someday I\'ll really get myself in trouble over it and learn my lesson. :p

usually its working on something on the computer that causes me to neglect something else. dinner for example. lol

if i find i need a break form something on the computer i go watch a TV program/movie that has a set time. otherwise i might venture off into forum hopping and such that will distract me for countless hours and not get back to what i needed to do on the computer.

Even though it\'s painful now you\'ll be so much happier when it\'s over.

Now that I\'m done with my master\'s I\'m enjoying being a kid . . . for the first time n life.

No but I am an Academic Counselor for a living! YOU MUST OBEY!

Trust me I totally understand the way you are feeling right now. Honestly when I felt that way I never did actually study and I usually ended up doing just fine on exams. It was when I would force myself to study that things didn\'t go well.

I\'m not really worried so far, finishing up my third term and have a 3.7 so far, lots of A\'s and two B\'s. This term I\'m expecting to see more of the same.

No but I did cut class for a month one time while working on my BA in history - and still got a B in the class.

The professor changed his attendence policy the next semester, and made sure to tell me that it was my fault when I took him again.


I had a good excuse - I didn\'t want to climb 3 flights of stairs to avoid disturbing Emilio Esteves.lol

I\'m male............of course I have no willpower.

I can\'t resist bright new shiny toys.
I have a huge \"To Paint\" stock of models and still I go into my local \"Wallet Vampire\" and buy more.
