Do you like Flyleaf?

I just got the Flyleaf CD for my birthday, and was surprised to find that a lot of people at the FLGS knew about them. I\'d heard them on Christian radio, and didn\'t know they had any mainstream appeal.

Anyone here a fan? Where are you from?

Heard of them (one or two friends from church listen), just typed them into spotify, its the song from Die hard 4!

They are pretty good..

Yeah, I thought that was Kitty in DH 4. Then I saw the music video that came with the CD, and was quite pleasantly surprised.

Eww... I can\'t stand them... singer is just too annoying, and the songs aren\'t very original.
If I\'m in the mood for woman fronted metal band, I\'ll take some Otep or Nightwish (though NW can get a little cheesy sometimes!)

SO little metal isn\'t cheesy. Anyway, Flyleaf isn\'t as close to being \"woman-fronted metal\" as they are to being altern. rock.

Eh I wouldn\'t call it metal. But I kina like it!

If I\'m in the mood for female vox in metal it\'s all about Ot3p or Kitty for me.
Nothing gets me going like \"Battle Ready\" , it\'s a beast of a song

Otep\'s alright, I prefer Arch Enemy.
Flyleaf is meh, girlfriend likes them.

Ainu - yeah I should slap myself for even referring to Flyleaf as metal... *slap*
It\'s hard to find cheesy metal, but when some of the metal bands add too much orchestral stuff to the music, it gets cheesy for me. I love metal, and I love classical, but mixed a lot of times it isn\'t done right. Oh, and also bands like Dragonforce are mega cheesy, I like to call them Disney metal... lol
