Sorry couldn\'t resist the bad joke.

Now in terms of thinning collections, yeah EBAY is great for that.

At the moment, Im living with my parents, experiencing the french lifestyle, but Ill soon be back home into my job.

Right now, Im helping dad out with the brocante, picture a car boot sale, but bigger.

Basically involves mostly working all day sundays, driving our van out, setting the stand up, and selling stuff all day, sometimes we do one brocante a week, sometimes 4 or 5, depends on all kinds of stuff.

But we also have a shop in what was the garage of the house we are in, where all the gear is set up there all week, and when we arent out on the road.

My normal job is a sound tech, or roadie, depending on whos paying that day.

Up to hundred hour weeks, heavy lifting, setting up gear that weighs up to, off the top of my head, 700 kilos, lug great lengths of rigging chain up the roofs of dusty dark old theatres, get to meet some right old ******** Id love to tap upside the head, along with some complete legends (Lemmy, Opeth, prime ministers, MPs, heads of companies etc)

I love it to bits, wouldnt do anything else on earth.

Unless your talking about fluffing female adult movie \"actresses\"

In which case, thats a no brainer, how much do I have to pay....

To be quite honest with you Ben, I did the market sale thing here with my Step-Uncle. Found that those can be really kinda fun, depent on the weather, place, and cliental. First rules that I figgered out, overhead covering good, following be sunglasses and sunscreen. Two, racetracks and other places that are paved without a go wind flow suck.
Have to admit that I loved to haggle (but really am not that good at it), but have to admit the step-uncle is truely a master, oh the stories that he comes up with.:D:D

I love my job.

I get lots of exercise. Every day is different, so there\'s no monotony. My boss\'s wife has called me \'our most dependable worker\' in front of lots of customers.

On top of that, I do a fair trade in painting miniatures for commissions and supplement my income further with odd-jobs like carpentry and painting rooms in houses and apartments whenever such jobs come up.

In a few more months, I\'ll likely also be starting to do some furniture re-finishing for even more money.

Those of you in the thread that have said you don\'t have jobs, or can\'t find them -- don\'t give up looking. No matter how bleak it might seem, there are jobs out there if you look hard enough.

I got mine by walking in to look at something I saw in the window, and asked the salesperson if they were hiring. I started three days later.

It\'s the best paying job I\'ve ever held, on top of just being a great job.
