This is a super wicked small mini. Like, maybe 12mm tall? Wow. I love painting Red Box stuff from Tre Manor, especially the robes. I think he does robes the best in the biz. Very big fan of his work.

Fire away any crit's on the paint if you are so inclined! I enjoyed painting this one. Do I still need more contrast between the shadow and the extreme highlight?

Maybe a little on the face? The robe seems very good to me! I like the mini a lot and if it is 12 mm is must be almost impossible to paint it! You could go a little bit deeper in some shadows on the robe I think. Some areas could also have been better blended I think, thinking about the fold to the right of his hand.
I have always liked your work and you only keep getting better!
Keep it up :)

Good point about some of the blends Cleen X, and thanks for the compliment

Also Freak/Tim, you make a really good point about the face shadow thingy. Good Idear!

Hey what gives? I got an eMail saying I had a comment (Thanks Tre!) and I checked out my score. Now, I am no mathamagician but I gave myself an 8, deserved or not so when I looked at it initially it was 1 vote, score 8.0

So after 2 votes the mini had a score of 6. So... that does mean someone gave me the 4 vote, right? Man... TOUGH crowd!

I'll get you four-voting-guy! One day I will!

But seriosuly thanks for the comment Tre. How cool is that when you can get a pat on the back form the dude who made the mini? It's happened a couple of times here on CMON and it's super cool every time. TY gang!

*hug ScottRadom* I was given two ones for my ChaosChampion, after I gave him a 8 too... Hell was I dissapointed... So dont think over it. THere are too many fair voters that will fix that.

The shadow of the face is a great Idea. But though it is so tiny, I am missing a little bit something like a freehand on the coat. I dont know why, but everytime I see a plain coat I want to paint a freehand on it. Even if it is only a different coloured line on the edge of the coat...

Just in a moment you will receive a 8 by me...

Ah stop moaning or I'll vote a 3! It's not really my idea, I'm
painting some cowboys with big hats and mrscream suggested it, just figgered it would look good on yours too!

It's not so much the score, as the concept.

If someone wants to vote it down, what's wrong with the "1" button? It's just as easy to hit, and FOUR times as effective!

a little bland looking for my taste but nicely done. i think i'd need bino's to paint something this small
