Does anyone else enjoy these?

My faves are still Partagas. I got my hands on some 150th anniversary Partagas the year they first sold. Magnificent! I\'ll tak a Partagas any day over other names. When I was in Korea I bought many Cubans in Seoul. I still prefer the Dominicans for consistency and flavor. It seems like the know-how, seeds and business men left Cuba after the embargo. Some relatively inexpensive yet quality smokes in my book:

Don Tomas: Very consistent smokes when you buy the box, snow-white ash that burns in a perfect cylinder.

La Aurora: Cheap, fairly consistent and smooth draw.

Canaria D\'oro: Good and pretty inexpensive.

H. Upmann: Pricey but usually worth it.

Partagas: Pricey, but still the reason God allowed Spaniards to discover the new world.

Bad joke my wife and I share: when I\'m out of Cigars, I call it a \"Cuban Missle Crisis\".

My favorite day in day out smokes are actually a sandwich cigar, not a standard rolled leaf cigar -

Aurto Fuentes Brevas Royals - made from the left overs from the cutting of the rest of the cigars, and usually a damn fine smoke.

I bet you have a nice garden in Alaska. ;)

Think you confused Jah with me. I\'m the Alaskan, and there are no nice gardens up here... if you gunna grow, you grow it indoors!

BTW, jah, your dreds are badass.

@jah: Your profile pic threw me off... that looks like SoCal stucco housing, not what you\'d find in FBX.

And whatever brought you to FBX better be payin\' hella good. More money than you know what to do with is the only incentive anyone should have for going to Fairbanks. Unless you\'re going to school, I guess.

Think that makes us the only two Alaskan\'s here...

Sorry. I could have sworn Jah was in Alaska.

You would think it woud be easier with all of the wilderness in Alaska.

i would never smoke \'normal\' ciggies (had a fair bit o\' green in my time) but the odd cigar at a celebratory event (weddings etc) are great. as it has been said, brilliant with a good beer

Here is a question for the panel;

Why is it regular cigarettes give me itchy skin and eyes, but cigars don\'t. Is it because of all of hte chemicals in cigarettes?

cigarettes are loaded with shite chemicals, stuff ya don\'t even wanna know about...i smoke american spirit, as they are all natural...not that they are any better for ya...but in mexico last year, the cops would stop me and tell me that my hands smelt like weed, and then try to extort money from me...so i started smokin\' cigarettes...they\'d stop me and try their game, and i\'d whip out a pack of smokes, and they couldn\'t do nothin\'...
now i have to try and kick the habit this winter...gonna be tough...these little bastards are addictive!!! stay away from \'em...if ya wanna put something in your mouth, go yourself a woman...cost just as much, but they are mildly better for your healthlol...

cheers

I hate recommending medication as a way out for anything, but when it comes to quitting smoking, I make an exception.

I quit, successfully and virtually pain free, with Chantix. Doctor prescribed, not cheap, but very effective. After 9 days (they suggest you smoke for a week after you start), at the proper dosage, and my cravings were gone. It\'s been 3.5-4 months now, and I haven\'t had a smoke. I can even be around people who smoke without getting a craving.

Makes some people nauseus, but I came through unscathed :)

Yeah. I avoid cigarettes. But cigars are nice. I smoke them sparingly because of the chance of addiction. As a matter of fact, I have a friend who quit cigarettes by smoking cigars. I can\'t give you the full detail. Something about cigar smoke only going into your mouth and cigarettes smoke enters your lungs.

Course, that doesn\'t make it any safer - Frued got bone cancer in his mouth that way.

He had other issues thoughlol

I used to work in a Tobacco/Porn store, so I got to try out samples of both here and there...

On Cigars, I enjoyed a Macanudo...and a few of the \'more expensive brands\'...but strangely I grew to like \'Black and Milds\' the best. They are a cheap \'swisher sweet\' type cigar that smells just like a pipe....egads they were good.

Now, let me tell you about the robotic vaginas....
