does anyone use a canon A-series

Anyone use one of the canon camera\'s, like a a630 or a700? My Nikon broke and I\'m considering one of those for mini photography as well as general family shots.

I bought my wife the Canon A520 Powershot. It is great for travel - portable and takes nice landscape and portrait shots. I haven\'t tried it for mini photography, and am not sure how good its macro function is. I use a Canon Digital Rebel with a macro lens for mini shots.

ive got a A520 havnt learnt enough about photography to see how good it can be but im happy with what im getting out of it so far

I use a Canon A75 - several years old, and it takes very good mini shots. Lots of features too, I imagine the newer ones are a lot better!

My advice: take a mini with you to the camera store, to test the various cameras\' macro abilities. Apparently lots of cameras claim to have macro but it\'s quite poor.

I\'ve got an AE-1 and an AE-1P body that I use several lenses on, but these are old film cameras.
