Thank goodness. I guess I would have nothing to worry about, as only a small fraction of my minis are painted, and even a smaller number actually based.

Yep, it was in his first short story anthology - Night Shift, I think it was called. A bunch of those little plastic green and tan army guys came to life, along with all of their jeeps, tanks, helicopters, etc. In the end, it\'s the scale-model thermonuclear device that does him in...

He also had a short story in Skeleton Crew that had a word processor (you can tell it\'s old simply by virtue of that \"archaic\" term) that manifested whatever was typed in reality... but that\'s a little further away from the one you meant I think Word Processor of the Gods I think it was called... lost the book about a year ago so I can\'t look it up for ya right now :~(

But yeah I think I\'d be in trouble because I have a 1:32 M109 Paladin in the closet... even at reduced scale a 155mm shell would hurt like crazy, and it would have an effective range of about half a mile too

Oh, and I do have 54mm (more like 75 if you want to get technical ) Space Marines too, which could get interesting... lol

Whereas I\'d like to think my minis would love me, they\'d probably stage a revolt and off me due to the sheer amount of them that are still unpainted.

Dang if my minis came alive it would be a crowded house. Some of the minis I\'ve painted lately I might not mind coming alive. Scantilly clad bad girls..hmmmm... OOPS! Sorry don\'t want to get another thread about nekid women going again. Frankly if my Witch Elves all came alive at once they\'d kick my a**. And I have a Sophie that\'s sitting unpainted, and some Sisters of Battle, and...and...and... Hey do we all own the same minis or what?
