I tell you, it\'s not just the Spanish. That numpty of a presenter Nicky Campbell threw in a playground Chinese accent in response to being turned down for an interview by a very busy Chinese lady just before the opening ceremony kicked off. It just goes to show the stature of the man .

Why not just put Prince Phillip in charge of your ad campaign? lol
lollollol

???

I recall the good Prince dressing up as a Nazi for a \'costume party\'.

I\'m sure there have been worse offenses, I mean other than the fact you still allow Princes over there....:D

Nah that was Prince Harry his grandson. Prince phillip is the old Greek codger married to Mrs. Queen. He has an unerring knack for saying incredibly ill advised things to people who are obviously going to take it the wrong way. Bloody hillarious lol

A selection of memorable quotes:

Speaking to a driving instructor in Scotland, he asked: \"How do you keep the natives off the booze long enough to get them through the test?\"

When visiting China in 1986, he told a group of British students, \"If you stay here much longer, you\'ll all be slitty-eyed\"

\"If it has four legs and is not a chair, has wings and is not an aeroplane, or swims and is not a submarine, the Cantonese will eat it.\"

To a British student in Papua New Guinea: \"You managed not to get eaten then?\"

Angering local residents in Lockerbie when on a visit to the town in 1993, the Prince said to a man who lived in a road where eleven people had been killed by wreckage from the Pan Am jumbo jet: \"People usually say that after a fire it is water damage that is the worst. We are still trying to dry out Windsor Castle.\"

On a visit to the new National Assembly for Wales in Cardiff, he told a group of deaf children standing next to a Jamaican steel drum band, \"Deaf? If you are near there, no wonder you are deaf.\"

In 2002, he asked an Indigenous Australian businessman, \"Do you still throw spears at each other?\"

Seeing a shoddily installed fuse box in a high-tech Edinburgh factory, HRH remarked that it looked \"like it was put in by an Indian\".

and whilst talking to a blind woman \"Do you know they\'re now producing eating dogs for the anorexics?\"

Hard to believe that the Queen can put up with him yet our own head of state managed to offend her in just a few short moments. /grumble
