Okay need some help.

Started a new Reaper mini,

Caella Death cultist

I\'m stuck on Red and Blacks and blues at the moment.

Need other ideas.

Not clear in the photo the girl has greaves on the front of her legs with edging under her boots (really dumb but, ok), and what appears to be a Leather armor sleeve band around her arm. I\'m stuck for ideas and I looked this one isn\'t in the galleries.


HHHEEEEELPP LOL.

Well, if I were to paint that mini(which I dont think I would like to) I\'d paint the armor silver with gold highlights, the rest... like boots and clothes leathery and muted tones.

maybe the bluish war paintish color of skin that Guinevere seems to have in the trailer for King Arthur....everything else dark, dangerous, and dreary...;)

Well, it\'s my understanding that in China white is the color of death. Might be ineresting to do her in whites, even try to make her garment translucent.
Is she wearing a walrus head on her head??
Actually, I like the white with gold trim idea. That\'s how I\'d paint her. I\'d also do her face in kabuki style make-up and go all China on her (okay, I know Kabuki is Japanese, but China has something similar, I just can\'t recall what it\'s called - just lots of white base with high contrast make up, you get the idea, maybe even ridiculously orange hair)

LOL she\'s a big Walrus head!!!! No its a Sabertooth cat skull...the picture of her on reapers website isn\'t very good. She really reminds me of a cross between a Ratskin from the necromuda game or some kind of Mad max gladiator.

keep them coming.

I paint with NNM\'s lately so the color silver is out.

Weelll, if you don\'t like the model, you can do what I\'ve always wanted to do...Get a nice dark green, coat her in it, do some really subtle highlighting, gloss coat her, and voila! You are now the proud owner of an original reaper green of Caella. :D

BTW...I also have the figure...if I ever decide on a color scheme I\'ll let you know! lol

Errmmm......

Aryanum, I read the post, but it looks like it just bashes the mini (not to say there\'s anything wrong with that :)) But doesn\'t he want ideas on the colour scheme he should do?

I was clarifying what was on her legs and arms. :D

For color scheme... hrm..

I\'m seeing a lot of leather on this mini, which would prompt me to go the \"normal\" route and paint those a brownish color.

But a red/black color scheme with flamey bits could be cool.
