That certainly is the likely reason. $50 to toss into a cup sounds great now, but without donor anonymity it could turn into $800 a month child support later... Though I would think that would be a specific contractual term for the recipient, that they were giving up any right to seek child support later on. After all they are paying for sperm, you could pretty much have whatever contractual terms you wanted in there and most recipients would agree to them.

Sounds interesting. I would participate readily: I\'m poor and full of healthy young hormones, seems ideal. But of course I am not mature enough to decide whether these complex moral obligations should be undertaken :innocent:
