I almost crapped my pants when I saw Alienslol.
It was the first movie I saw in the US.
I\'ve now seen it over 60 times and it\'s one of my favourite movies.I hope DOOM is like that.Then again I think the Rock is a good actor so what do I know.lol

I look forward to seeing this movie. Not sure how I feel about the FPS view, but I will give it a go.

I like the Rock as an actor. He was really good in the Rundown and he did a good job on the Scorpion King (good I said not great.)

I am also looking forward to seeing Karl Urban. I have liked him in everything I have seen him do, and I thought he did a smashing job in the Bourne Supremacy.

It \"THE RO O O CK\". He doesnt act he just hits things really hard. Come on people its an action movoe based on a FPS. The is no need for a script just lots of special effect. When does it come out in OZ.

has anybody actually seen it yet?

I loved that game so much.

Please don\'t bother with actor\'s ability or story\'s sense. Just tell me: does the film have that --- gasp ---shiver --- fear--- blast away --- feeling the game had or not ?

The Rock can act,but they couldn\'t give him decent lines.I would have the writers flogged.It was slow.
It was not horrible but def. a dvd watch.

Yup certainly could have been better. Kind of dumb that they didn\'t stick to the game\'s, demons from hell portal dealy. But I thoroughly enjoyed the FPS sequence. Kind of had flashbacks to DOOM 3.

I never played Doom, saw the film today, thought it was pretty good, quite suspenseful. The FP shots were quite cool, but a bit cheesy, especially the demon looking at the bomb bit. Silly.

Overall, not bad, but really just a poor copy of aliens...

The Rock - \"check\".

Director - \" Now, in the next scene things get really trickey. This time you run down ANOTHER hall and shoot more baddies. Got it\"?

The Rock - \"I think so\"

Director - \"Rock buddie, brace your self. In the most Oscar winning part of the movie the baddies will chase YOU down a hall\"

The Rock - \"Hmmm, I dunno, lemmie talk to my acting coach\"

Director - \"If it\'s too much we can have a stunt double do the running down the hall and CG in the shooting of the baddie\'s\".

Play Doom. There was a version that had an Aliens game hidden on the disk. It was basically just doom with different skins on the walls and monsters, but it was Aliens and the music was Aliens and I think the monsters were even faster like Aliens. Very fun.

You know it was popular once, when you\'ve never actually played it yourself, but hope in the preview that they\'ll have the chainsaw!;)
