well ive finally picked a brush up again and have started work on a brand new project! after a day of painting here is what i have so far (its not glued just put together for the pics) tell me what ya think! never tried alot of things on this model before such as dark bronze \ copper, and the weathering effects on it. nor have i tried wood of any kind before not to mention stained wood. i am currently debating doing a rust effect on the blades, let me know your opinions.

neat engine, altho it look most dangerous to the driver :D i think the metals would beenfit of some rust effects, but be careful not to overdo it

the lava-base work. might be the pictures but it looks like the beast is going down in it!

After a day... It takes me about a month to get this much done, and it's not half as good.
Nice work, I agree about the metal thing. The reflections/lights on the beast thingy seem a bit messy though, somewhat inaccurate I think, if it's osl you're aiming for. Lava base does work though.

Nice start on doomwheel so far. I like different brown colors for those wood plates actually.
About lava theme - the lighting looks kinda messed for me. Mainly the "yellow" lighting on the back of beast (spine armor and "saddle") looks like it's caused by lava. But it should be more on underneath parts of beast then on top I guess. (if it's lighting of course)
Anyway - nice work.

Good job for the doomwheel, the wood is well done.
The lavabase is not very good, the highlights aren't realistic and, as Phaty said, you should make them on underneath parts cause lava is under him.

for the lava base the model was actualy painted before the base was even concidered being a lava base. was trying to paint the model as if it was red hot metal itselfe.

too bold? just wondering what you think of the colour of the tubes for the warp stone weapons as well as the banner.

i think the colours work, but it need to be a littlebit less clean. rats are shabby and right now it look more like something elfs would use :D

Absolutely love the different wood colors in the wheel. Where are you going to go with the bright blue/purple banner though (I'm guessing that's just a base for what you want, but I could be wrong).

But yes, it does look awfully clean for dirty rat men.

i like it. and its cool to see how the kit assembles

It certainly is, that middle piece looks so simple to convert into a pushbike :D I can just imagine him, pedalling furiously, rusty metal squeaking, as he wobbles across the battlefield shooting sparks of Warpstone energy at the enemy :)

I'm enjoying your WIP Wolf Fang :) Cheers, B.
