Welcome to Dr. Moschs patented Aggression Technique. This workshop will help you to channel your aggression into your modelling hobby and create the most aggressive terrain ever.
To participate, you need the following:
- 1 old, useless CD (or something else ou want to use for a base)
- a sharp steak knife
- a scalpel
- some thick insulation foam
- spray paint (I used Citadel Chaos Black)
- cheap black and white color
- Wood glue
Everyone who knows me knows that I do not need the first step, but it\'s here anyway: Get worked up. find something that really bugs you and think about it. Channel it into the block of foam. Because of this insulaion foam, your wife left you. That piece of insulation foam killed your dog. That foam stole your wallet. And it is responsible for the ozone hole too. et really, really pissed off. I basically am all the time, but some people seem to need practice
Step 2 is to grab the steak knife. Go on, you know you want to. Take the knife and slash that son of a styrofoam! You do not really need an absolutely straight cut, irregularities are OK. Now grab the small piece and yank it out of the block.
Step 3: You should now have a piece of foam. If you don\'t, you have slashed the wrong thing. I am not responsible for that. In fact, if you did slash the wrong thing, you never read this here, OK?
Next take the scalpel. Use it to cut something to stand on - even out one side. Or just cut out a smaller piece of foam to get a smaller rock.
Step 4: This is the most fun. Give that rock in work some nice gashes with your scalpel, then rip out irregular parts. Dig your fingers into it and rip out the foam pieces! You can intensify this experience by crying \"Mwahaha!!! He ain\'t pretty no more!!!!\". Do that until you are remotely satisfied with the rock shape.
Step 5: Take the CD and break it into a base. I have not yet found any way to cut it well, so break it. Be careful that it does not break into too small pieces or flies into your eye! File and/or sand any sharp edges and roughen up the surface a bit while you\'re at it.
Drop a big blob of white glue onto your base. Use more than you would need to glue your foam rock down. Now after pushing you foam piece into it, the glue will squeeze around. Spread it on the CD and sprinkle it with sand or whatever you use to flock your pieces. Wiat until everything is completely dried, then tap off the excess sand.
Now just spray it with your spray paint. If you use two cans, one in each hand, you can screech \"AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!\" while you do it, further intensifying the aggression technique ©. The spray will partly melt the foam, giving it an even more \"rocky\" appearance.
Now paint it. I used \"Krautol Voll- und Abtönfarbe\" because I can it really cheap in a store here. I have no idea what this kind of color is called in english. It is paint you mix with white paint to create more diverse colors. I did a real quick job, doing two layers of drybrush over a black basecoat, swinging the brush wildly.
After you are done, you should have something like this:
The whole thing took about 10 minutes, with the time waiting for the paint to dry already deducted. It will not win anything, but it\'s OK for tabletop use - and you will have a hell of a time making it if you are even only remotely like me
Thus we conclude Dr. Mosch\'s Aggression Technique ©
I should submit this as an article
