Dragon Diary and New Website

Hi guys!

I think I forgot to post something here about the changeover to my new website at www.PaintMinion.com . The old one will still work, but it\'s gradually being phased out.

Anyone who bookmarked www.beagamer.com can now switch to the new site. As incentive to do this soon, I\'ve put up my Dragon Diary in the Gallery section that is a running commentary with pictures on how I\'m currently putting together and painting the new Dark Sword dragon.

The dragon needs to ship out next Monday, so I\'m painting like a fiend, and uploading my daily progress with comments and pictures! All in good fun!

Helpful comments on the website are always welcome as we\'re still putting some things together, but just about everything is now in place.

Hi Sue......I’m finding your Dragon Diary a fabulous read..I’m actually understanding some of the terms bandied around here..blending..pinning etc. After the dragon is done, I hope you will do more minis of varying difficulty on your diary. Oh and I miss your ebay store...sob Donna

I really like the Dragon Diary. That is very good demonstration of both your technique and high quality painting.
I\'ll be owing you for all the tips you\'ve just given me.
But it means that I\'ll have to be digging out one of my many dragons (many unpainted dragons) to have a go at.

Sue, just finished reading your Dragon Diary, it was excellent. Might I suggest that your diary would make an awesome article here on CMON.

I\'ve picked up a couple of big dragons this year and have been hesitating on painting them. I\'m going to use your diary as a guide. Thanks for sharing that with us, it was a lovely job.

Any idea when Dark Sword will have the final pictures up on their site?

Now if I made it an article here, who would ever come to my website? I\'m glad you liked the diary. It isn\'t easy to have to stop and take pics and think about what you\'re doing and why. I can\'t believe that Tammy Haye did it all in one day with her mini!

As for when the pics will be up on Dark Sword, the dragon is in transit (don\'t anyone dare start hijacking postal trucks looking for it!) but Dark Sword should have it tomorrow (Thursday). I would think in about another week or so they might have pictures, but that\'s a pure guess. I\'ll ask Jim though and see what he says.

I think the next one I\'ll do might be a Thunderbolt Mountain Elf or something...much smaller.
