Dredd v. Death

Ok, the latest PC Gamer indicates that there was a Dredd v. Death FPS PC game released over there in England not too long ago, and that it will be released here in the states within the next month or so.

So, my British friends...is this game worth my ripping apart the pimply faced kid at Electronics Boutique to get my grubby hands on?

I have to admit i\'ve only played a demo, as FPS aren\'t really my cup of tea, but it seemed to play well. If you like the whole mega city thing, and can resist the trigger finger occasionally to actually caution or arrest perps, you will probably love it.

P.S the demo I tried was the PS2 version, not the PC version

I am a huge JD fan and a FPS player by nature so this really had to be bought.........Unfortunately I\'ve had more fun watching the JD film (curse you Hollywood and especially you Stallone).
As for the quote if you have the same EB staff we have, Do you need a reason?

Yup. I am also one of Joe Dredd\'s biggest fans

I\'ve been into old stoney face for close on three decades now. I still buy 2000AD every week and the megazine every month. This very day I have bought another load of Citadel Judge Dredd Minis from eBay.
The first Judge Dredd game sucked, blew and did everything else you might expect from a pile of cr*p.
Judge Dredd V Death I have bought and played for about 20 minutes. It might be one of those \'slow burners\' that take a while to get into, but the start is definitely poor. At least it doesn\'t float my boat. Having said that, it appears infinitely superior to the PS1 version, but that wouldn\'t be hard.
I too, would be interested to hear what other people have to say about this game.
