dropper bottles upside down?

I've been looking through various pictures and I noticed a recuring theme: people store their dropper bottles upside down. This was really confirmed as it appears that the use case driven organizers seem to be built specifically with this in mind.

Why is that?

It's so that you can see the colour of the paint more easily :)

It potentialy also avoids air leakage to enter while increasing their shelf life... For drop bottle i am not sure that's critical and seeing the color on the other side is a really good argument, because the cap cover it quite well. But for gw bottle to store them upside down really shows longer shelf life.

I am surprised that storing dropper bottles upside down does not cause pluggage between the tip and cap. I know mine are messy iff i shake them too rigorously before use with storing them upright.
