Well, you know when your mom told you not to play hockey in the house? There\'s a reason for that i guess. So now i\'ve got a bucket of drywall compound. Anybody use this for terrain or vehicals? just trying to get some use out of itlol

Yeah, I\'ve used that stuff for terrain. Works pretty well. You can get it textured while it\'s still wet by throwing sand at it. Once dry, it sands and carves decently. The best thing about it is that it\'s pretty darn cheap! ;)

how about 5 gallons of it!!

After completely redrywalling most of my house, I ended up with almost a 5 gallon bucket of the stuff.

I use it peridically. It worked really well for the texture/bark on some wire trees I made.

great terrain material!

use the GW template for 40k and then cover them with mud and let it set a bit and stipple it....viola instant stucco!

uses for drywal compound

its nice to use when connecting a hill to the game board, to give it that smooth look.
also to cover up foaw so when its sprayed with primer it doesnt get eaten.
also as stated above, throwing sand in gives it a nice texture.
the only problem i have with it is knowing if its too little or to much when i cover foam. once sanded down to desired smoothness level i usually find gaps in it wher it reveals foam! anywho...
hope that helped a little.
