My entry for the Metallicadept contest, http://www.coolminiornot.com/index.php?c=all&m=all&id=47018&nm=&imgid=10521&comp=all which shows I\'m not quite as \"adept\" as I\'d like, but I guess we can\'t all be Joe Hill\'s or Jacob Neilson\'s :)

Actually I\'m pretty happy with him, if I could just get my camera skills to more accurately show what he looks like in the flesh I\'d be laughing lol

Actually Trevor, he\'s pretty good. Much better than my ork. Although I did learn somethings from the contest as well - first and foremost being when Lobsterboy is whining that his piece will not win anything, look out. :D

Yeah, I don\'t know what happened, I\'m having some people look over it, check Jarrett for drugs :D

I can\'t even imagine that the mini was once covered in salt grains!?!?!?! lol

I love the Duke Gerard fellow, you really have done a good job.

The red on the cloak (back view) is incredible, and the overall bluish steel is done well.

Sorry, but I don\'t care for the color on the face, the contrast seems too severe. Also, I think there should be a little more contrast between the metallic wings (or whatever they are).

@lobsterboy....I know the focus seems to be on the metallics on your mini, but I sure hope people don\'t overlook that face. Great job, the blending is super!

Congrats to both of you!!

He look s pretty darn good to me. Congrats to the Lobster for his third place finish. Alas, my undead hunter is sitting on my desk half painted. Haven\'t had time to pick up a brush in over a month. Hopefully he\'ll get finished one of these days.

It\'s cool watching you show your stuff too. That nurgly grey knight guy is still a fave of mine, whose progess I followed the whole time when you were just coming to the forums :)
