Dullcoat with metallics and before/after?

Hi everyone, what does dullcoat do to your metallic paints? do the metallic paints keep the bright look or are they also get dulled down. I don\'t have a clue:flip:

Also, I\'m interested in before/after pictures of mini\'s before and after they had the dullcoat on them, just to see what is does ( I\'ve heard it makes some colours blend more etc. )

It does exactly what it says on the tin

Basically, it dulls whatever it coats, so metals MAY seem slightly less shiny, but if you go over with a thin layer of brush on gloss varnish, you can rectify this.
