Dungeons & Dragons movie sc-fi orginal

pretty cool movie and alot better then the orginal one..I thought the lich was a bit odd looking though..cool refferences made to Greyhawk and old modules..ghost tower of inverness for those that have been there done that any other thoughts?

I tried to watch last night and kept falling asleep! In the movie\'s defense, it was late and we\'d just finished up playing D&D, so I was tired. Grumb never made it to the end of the Krull movie that was on before the D&D one.

I hope they re-air it.

Redawn I would have to say for a made for tv version it was very good and yes it smoked the first one with the wayans brother..

Ebonbuddah I completely agree..when its so bad all you can remember about the thing is one cool part..the beholder..it kinda falls in that so bad it becomes a classic category((attack of the killer tomatoes etc.....now if sci-fi did a series how kick ass would that be?

I believe it is scheduled to be released on DVD next month.

This was my second viewing (thank you, Internet newsgroups! ). I thought it fell in about the same class as some of my favorite not-too-great fantasy movies, such as Beastmaster and Conan. There were some things that didn\'t make sense, but I assume they were due to editing and not complete idiocy on the part of the screenwriters.

Supposedly they made the actors look at the D&D Player\'s Handbook for inspiration about their characters. lol
