Yes, I\'m hoping to start a small mercenary force since i already have a 2,000+ Cygnar army. I bought the Gorten Grundback starter and i like Durgen better for some reason.

Here\'s some of the armor \"done.\" I put done in quotes becuase now that i see it in the picture I think I might have to go lighter on the highest parts. Other suggestions are appreciated, ohh and paint chips i thought about but i dont think im good enough to do them yet, so I wont try them on this model.

The body and base is all done, including matte sealer. Now all I have to do is his arms, and weapons. Tell me what you think so far, hoping for some more feedback even if you say it looks like crap haha.

I think its looking pretty good so far, but it seems to be a little, IDK, dull. Not as in the opposite of shiny, but just a bit boring. Neutral greys always seem that way to me of late. Maybe its all the grey hair thats coming in thats making me biased. Maybe a very thin wash of something with a little color. Purple or blue maybe.

Stop whinig about your scores. I get terrible scores, but I don\'t rant about it. Not to be mean, but it\'s almost an INVITATION for snipers to rate your piece badly. I myself gave it a seven.

haha, i was bored sorry, lol!!
one thing you\'ll always hear, (if you are interested in art that is) is that your lights can be lighter and your darks can be darker..it seems like the sharp edges of the peice could use stronger highlights. it wouldn\'t be a bad idea to get some contrast in there..its all mostly that same( no offense) boring gray/metal color. Also the tabbard could use more highlights/shading. Over all not bad, remember its a learning expierence, so take your score, look at it and apply what you didnt do this time to your next peice. Because of this thread I went out and bought this fellow. Got him and I have a question - there are three grenades yet I see no attachment points. Where do they go?

You can see a 360 degree view of the model there just by clicking on the picture. They are attached to his backside(top of his buttplate) :moon: . I personally didnt like them, so i decided to leave them off.
