Sorry if this is bad form. Small windfall in spring. I can remember years ago, when I was still at school and peering through the glass Parente's 1:35 Dust fascinated me. It's a fine example of Sod's Law that after years of diligently thinking of other things and trying to be useful and productive, many of the German models I loved are out of production as soon as I might be able to afford them.
I studied German literature, Der zerbrochene ringlein comes to mind -- ''Sie hat die Treu gebrochen...' after all these years...
I far prefer them the smaller ones and I have decided rather spend more on something I really love as decoration and fascination is intended rather than gaming use.
But I am determined to fight back!
War chest will begin at £250.00 in January (Christmas money) and increase. Sincere and serious interest in any unpainted and unassembled 1:35 and 1:35 only Dust Axis kits, ideally still boxed. Hunt about! If you know of any shops anywhere in the world with back stock, let me know!
If my memory serves me there were Raketentruppen, a 1:35 Luther and Jagdluther, Bergeluther and pilots, Sigrid von Thaler and Manfred, Grenadiers, anti-walker crew, an Afrika Korps officer with Hyena and more...
