I finally found the time to paint a miniature recently. I have no idea how other painters with toddlers find the time to do this stuff!!

I\'m not entirely happy with how he turned out but considering half my painting time was spent standing in the kitchen under the regular lights whilst trying to keep an eye on Ava he didn\'t turn out too bad.

I\'m more unhappy with the photos, however. I had major issues trying to get decent lighting on the stupid bastard and my monitor is a pos so I\'m not sure if what I am looking at is actually going to reflect what everyone else sees.
Can you guys tell me if he looks too dark on your monitors? Are the photos crap?

There are a couple of larger shots on my site and he\'s up for sale on ebay. I might have to edit the listing if the photos are too crap though. Bloody photos. *shakes a fist*

I like the painting, but admit that the definition around the gold and silver, as well as the orange on the high might have done with better contrasts. And his axe area is kiiiinda dark. But all in all still pretty decent. I like it.

Looks pretty good, but I do think you need to sort out a new picture for a decent kinda comment on it.

As for the toddlers, cages seem to be in fashion......:twisted:

Yeah I might have to try and take new photos tomorrow if I get a chance. *shakes a fist*

Think he turned out quite good, would like the pics to be a bit bigger though for detailed commenting

Umm... I think it\'s actually that oldschool GW gold that they no longer make. The one everyone loves. (sorry it\'s in the other room and I\'m hella lazy)

I just did some dark brown glazes over it.

The dwarf got sniped something chronic earlier. He was at 6.something then whipped back up to 7.3 with less votes than earlier. Hahah.

The larger pics are much better and you can see the work you have put into it :D

As for the rating jump/sniping that will be the whatchya macallit cutting in at 50 votes and getting shot of the low scores from the Richard Craniums that snipe anything that is not their friends or not their current fancy at the moment :)
