Dwarf skin tone ideas

Hello, I have a qestion and Im having a hard time with this. I just got Sigurt the Slash from sciborminis a few days ago and cannot decide on a skin tone. This is the first time I painted a large area of skin. I only have a few colors to chose from dwarf, elf, bronze flesh, and tanned flesh from GW. And fair skin triad from reaper can any one give me some sugestion on which to use for a old gritty slayer?

I\'ll be honest and say none of the above.

All the premixed flesh tones are colour balanced incorrectly for accurate skintone rendition.

Personally I\'m using a variation on Vallejo Brown Sand, mixed with Ivory and shadow toned with Cork Brown and Flat Brown and touches of Purple and Green.
Sometimes underpainted with Dark Flesh or Terracotta.

i did something sorta similar (starting from a color you wouldnt expect i mean) try scab red, it actually looks really good as a shade for flesh. (to be cautious you could mix it with some brown)

As a bit of a counter point. Citadel has a flesh tone in their Foundation line that is really quite nice. I can\'t remember the name of it, but I\'ve used it as part of a blend for a couple different minis now and really like it.

I used it on this dwarf:

mixed with Bleached Bone for the base. There are Scorched Brown and some dark blue (can\'t remember which) in the shadows. For the highlights I used more Bleached Bone, White, and one of the GW reds (Blood Red, probably).

Anyway... it works pretty well for rugged, weathered dwarfs. Also, I\'ve had luck starting with Bleached Bone as a base for redheads. Might want to get some Elf Flesh or something involved at some point to pink it up a bit if you go that route.
