Dwarfs of Legend ???

Hi Guys,

Do any of you remember the Skulls promotion GW did YEARS!! ago where if you spent £10 you got a skull stamp, the more you got the better the gift you could get??

If you do i have the Dwarfs Of Legends which was one of the more pricie gifts... I was told by someone that they are very very rare and worth alot of money.

I was wanting to know if anyone knew just how much they are worth, because i have been offered two 3up GW models for them and was wanting to know if this a good deal or not???

I think these would be worth a hell of a lot, if i remember they were the top skulls offer so 50skulls about £370 worth of buying as you got some free with the card.

I have never come across these on ebay, so that says it pretty much. As for the 3ups you have been offered, do you mean the large scale mini\'s given to shop workers at christmas OR sculptors 3ups from when they were working on new models?

Yeah its the large scale minis given to shop workers... a woodelf & a chaos knight ( not the new ones.

and the 3ups your on about sound like the 54mm miniatures that gw used to give to their manages ages ago wich are quite rare but not as rare as the dwarf, but i may be wrong.

Yea the elf and the chaos knight were both staff christmas gifts, they are 54mm scale. Its up to you though tbh the dwarves are rarer as i have seen the large scales on ebay more. Do you have any more of the skulls promotion figures?

Realised me and sam said the same stuff :p

No its none of them but its not just 1 dwarf theres 8 of them and yeah it is the one that are giving to mangers... It just seems strange because i said to the guy just passing that i had the dwarfs and he said they are worth alot of money. So i told him i would take them in next time i was in the area, which was today. He grab them like i just handed him £100.000 and said \'i have two 3up\'s for ya i\'ll bring them in tomorrow\' and that was it he has them and i have to go back. By the way he runs the shop so he will be there but i fell like i\'m been ripped off.:flame:

He runs the place? He is probably hoping you are an uninformed buyer and then will trade them, as he would have been given them for running the store, the dwarves ARE rarer than the 54mm large scale figs, they are nice but i would barter for more of him

had a look and their not there... i am in the uk if that makes a difference.. DAME these must be rare !!!

How do you think i should go about it as he has the dwarfs... he\'s a kinda freind now as i\'m in all the time... :( Dam ! this is a Sh*tter !

stuff of legends usually have everything listed, even if theres no pic hmmmm...must be very rare ???
