Hi. All you who paint decent earth/sky NMM on your minis, do you use any varnish? And what paints do you use?
I know the basic technique of earth/sky, but I need some decent paints...And I can\'t get it to actually look metallic. I have some troubles, as you cane see...

Most people will use a Dullcote style varnish for their minis, regardless of what style it\'s painted in. Some exceptions naturally, but varnish is something every mini needs if you think the paintjob is worth protecting.

I have the same problem. I can not make it look like its metal. I get the blending and highlighting down, but I cant get it to give off that metalic sheen that you see on other chrome like minis
