Unfortunately they are only moving a percentage of the price from the listing fee to the selling fee, so no real change.
But if somethings doesn\'t sell at least you won\'t be out of pocket as much.

It\'s a good thing in a way but still the fees are pretty high....At least I can claim some of them back.....one of the advantages of being registered...

Did ya notice that the gallery picture is going to be free now? Plus the additional pictures are going lower. That will help a lot of painters here at least a little.

I\'m happy to hear that sellers can\'t leave bad feedback for buyers anymore. As a buyer, I look forward to using this to rip off many honest buyers with impunity.

Between Ebay fees and Paypal fees trying to keep your money is difficult when you list auctions. Still I\'ve done my first four ebay auctions in the last couple of weeks and I\'ve made a decent amount of money to supplement my income. So, it\'s money I now have that I didn\'t start out with.

Granddad!
well there\'s no change for shop owners, so I\'m gonna stay with Wargames Market for now. No Final Value fees!

I\'m gonna keep my ebay ID for the occasional non mini stuff but that\'s all, for now anyway

This new feeback idea is horrible. Negative feedbacks for sellers will rise across the board. There can only be one of two outcomes from it.

Outcome # 1: it will drive out a large percentage of the small sellers (if you have 200,000 feedbacks now, some extra negs are no big deal, but if you\'ve got 40 feedbacks, just two negs has a dramatic impact).

Outcome # 2: seller feedback across the board will get lower (where now you look for sellers with 99% or 100% feedback, in the future you will have to look for sellers with 90% feedback, since no sellers will be able to have 100% feedback anymore; it just won\'t be possible).

IMO this is a terrible change, and may impact what eBay is as a whole, but may also be a catalyst to allow some real competition to eBay as well.

I\'d have to agree, as far as Wargames Market goes.
It\'s more of a service for gamers by gamers.:D
Ebay\'s nice for other things, but it\'s ridiculously expensive to list for smaller things, unless you can do so in bulk.
:mad:I REALLY don\'t like the new feedback crap.:flame:
I\'m sorry, I have a hard enough time with buyers not leaving feedback, or leaving a nuetral when there Item wasn\'t at there door next-day when they only paid first class, or it was destroyed in shipping, but they didn\'t foot the bill for insurance.
I\'m all about customer service, but please, that doesn\'t mean they\'re always right.
Ebay is too big to be helpful to the little guys anymore.

Oops, I ranted again..

Yeah, I just found out about Wargames Market yestreday. Why? Because the eBay policy and fee changes pissed me off for the last time and I am now seeking alternative avenues to peddle my wares.

What got me the most was how they tried to spin the changes: \"We\'ve listened to your comments and concerns, so here we come on our great white chargers to save the world for you!\" Great, a 5-cent decrease in listing fees for a 3% increase in final value fees. So you pay $.30 more than you \"save\" in a $9.99 auction. Thank you eBay!!

Anyway, Wargame Market seems like a decent place, though it could use some more activity. CMON\'s auction features should be altered to include auctions there as well!

Fantastic idea, I think alot more people would take the plunge if they could guarantee the advertising that this place offers.

The number one reason I don\'t sell on Wargames Market is due to the lack of exposure. If I could get CMON advertising from WM, I\'d take the plunge. Yeah.

Of course, I\'m cruising on 100% commissions at the moment, so not an immediate need for it... but it\'d be a huge boost.

Well i just set up an account on wargames market today and will use it to sell my ever growing product line. I like how they deal with fees and such so why no give it a whirl.

Ive become less thrilled with ebay over the last few years ever and this latest makes me want to quit selling there all together. As most of what i selkl has a set fee and not relying on auctions to drive prices up a place like WGM might be a useful selling tool.

I will continue though to use my website as a selling tool for my entire line.

NSFW!!

I have taken all that I am going to take from ebay.
I made very sure I was aware and not in violation of their policies.
3 times they have pulled my listing as a copyright violation, and three times, I went over their policies and tried futilely to contact the \"rights\" \"owner\".
And when I requested help removing an outright lie and negative feedback, again, they say it isn\'t a violation, even when their POLICY states that a lie or malicious feedback will be removed.

Forgive me if I offend, and if I get suspended it worth it.
