i didnt know that brother captain stern was hard to find or even off their online page.

about the expert undercoating, i expert undercoat everything and then paint them like crap. that way i can say that they are expertly painted halfway.

That\'s ebay for you. Don\'t forget the fellow couldn\'t find the model on the GW site either so he\'s useing reliable information that it\'s Brother Captian Stern Grand Master of the Grey Knights. But hey, he does have bids on it so i guess someone needs an expertly undercoated figure.

This is a new one for me!

I\'ve been looking for some Bloodbowl figures on ebay recently and the usual desriptions are:

Pro-painted (- or profesionally painted)
Painted to a high standard
Well painted
Painted to a reasonable standard
Neatly painted
Nicely painted

The thing they had in common (with about two exceptions) was that they were all crap! Mind you I wanted them to strip down and repaint anyway.

The other thing is how much they sell for - for models that are still in production you only save about 10%-15% on GW\'s price when you factor in the postage.

The people who sell heavily discounted GW stuff on Ebay make me laugh. They must make absolutely peanuts.. the margin is only 35% as it is and I\'ve seen discounts upto 30% before... they must do it to get their own stuff cheaper... can be the only reason.
