Yeah, people who express a lot of interest in something then offer an insulting amount really get under my skin...

I mean I\'ve had people (names withheld because I\'m a nice guy :D) contact me looking to buy stuff I\'ve posted and are hesitant to pay more than a couple bucks over the retail cost of the model. After shipping I\'m probably losing money on the deal. How is that a fair deal for a 7.5-8.0 rated mini?

Luckily there are also a lot of great folks on the other side of the spectrum, gracious ladies and gents who go out of their way to make any purchases and trades a pleasurable experience.

I tip my hat to all of you out there :)

I don\'t understand those folks that pay for what I paint. They confuse me, but the stuff seems to make them happy, so I bless them.

I remember that the people who pay their good money and take time to praise my work are not customers, they are patrons.

>Yeah....I mean what the Fhuk?!

Dude you want a figur that a sculptor would get $300 for...unpainted plus possible %`s in royalties...

Now a conversion is not entirely sculpted...but the amount of work myself and a (Damn)Few others can do here,we that are silly about being our best...is a one of a kind figure when we are done.

Then there is the paint work....so you tell me,what is it worth to have a \"One And Only\"?

Thanks everybody !

So many reactions, need some comments ! Thanks all of you (even Big Mean Elf :p

1 - I do understand your slang BM Elf , and that\'s a lot of fun for o foreigner to learn such things ;)

2 - I never used \"pro painted\" since I\'m not full time painter, just A+ painted which seems fine for a 8 rated mini on CMON

3 - true that warhammer on the tittle may ebuyers waste time but since i always use the gallery option the icon should help them to use their brain and think : this is not WH stuff, but il looks nice and will probably fit....

4 - true too that GW is the fucking biggest categories for minis : I whish Ebay could addd reaper, rackham, ikore.... but if you want a lot of hits that\'s the best place to post, sad but that\'s it...

5 - Warhammer and other pro painters : I reckon it sucks that these bastards of GW could kill one of your main $$$ source : so caution we have to sell jusy GW stuff under this name !!! or never buy GW stuff again ;)

6 - it\'s understandable they protect their rights but is seems they use the most basic and brutal way : a doubt ?, screw the auction !!! but these guys can\'t probably take the time to read the item description !!! Actually GW sales and marketing guys are like the evil clown of Stephen King IT !!!! come and float with us.....
If you are above 14 and more clever than a slug you\'ll soon discover THEY DON\'T LIKE THE HOBBY : THEY WANT TO SUCK ALL YOUR MONEY OUT !!! (drying paint, plastic crap, quickly converted minis....

And that a pitty for many of their artists and sculptors are skilled nice chaps...

But well everyboby needs to make a living ;)

7 - and last : to those who think it\'s stupid to use pro or A+ painted
(Mat Verzani ot Jen Haley don\'t...)
I\'ll just think that the day when, by just naming an auction : \"taban studio painted\" and get over 300$ for it, then I\'ll agree with you...

I can\'t let a mini that took my 10 hours work, rated 8 or more on CMON, go for less money that what I\'d get cleaning some toilets !!!!
and A+ painted can help until you are well known...
