i would wait you dont want to get into the negative feedback scenario, he negs you you neg back he replies to your neg with a load of bulls**t you reply to his honestly(this is what happened to me recently, if you havent guessed)it can all get messy. you can get sauare trade in to help remove neg fedback who will mediate between both parties but they charge you$20.00 goddam bloodsuckers

earlier this week I requested the buyer\'s contact information and sent a payment reminder: without any results

yesterday I sent a mail explaining that I am leaving on holiday for 3 weeks next week and that he should have to wait if I don\'t receive payment in time...

and that seemed to work: today he paid me :)

Glad to hear that.

Glad he paid. I would be very tempted to leave this guy a \"neutral\" feedback. \"Paid but slow to respond\" unless he had a valid excuse (on holiday himself, computer blew up, death in family, sent to Iraq, etc.)

If he had not, you can cancel the sale through ebay and leave him the bad feedback. He will not be able to leave feedback on you as the sale is canceled. You then can sell to next bidder or relist the item for free.

yeah, giving him a neutral feedback might be tempting, but I\'m afraid he will do the same with me as some kind of revenge...

I will just ask him for an excuse for now...

yeah he probably would, my advice is dont do it, neutral feedback is considered by most to almost as bad as negative, just dont give him any feedback and if your that annoyed with him put him on your exclusion list(cant remember the e bay name) but it will mean in future he cant bid on your lots. at the end of the day he has paid and it hasent been that late even though you did state 3 days.
