Im trying to avoid drybrushing on this one. Ive been tied to it for too long.

Ive got alot left to do on her. About 3 to 4 hours in so far.

It would be good if you could clip the pics and give some closeups of the mini. hard to work out whats what. I would definitely avoid dry brushing your mini if you want to improve your painting. Good luck.

Good deal! About six months ago I began my path to drybrush recovery.

Yeah, the pictures are nearly impossible to see any detail on, but the blue looks smooth and the gray looks well highlighted. I look forward to closer pics.

I think the grey is looking great, just a few more highlights.
The blue looks a little like blue plastic, not sure what the best fix would be hopefully by highlighting more it will lose that effect.
Other than that looking great and I like the base dynamic.

You should read the articles section about taking photos. But in a nut shell use at leat two light sources. You camera should have a white balance feature, use it so that the color balance is correct. next clip your pics to get rid of the excess stuff.

The Blues and greys are coming along. I would personally go higher with the highlights but thats just me. Cominig along well.
